Ital Rundown With Rice And Peas - a special at The Herbarium, made by yours truly with the recipe from my favourite chefs, Original Flava!
Butternut squash, bell peppers, and hunks of sweetcorn, simmered in a spiced thyme coconut broth, served with classic coconut rice and kidney beans. Perfect food for this Storm Dennis mayhem!
I amended Craig and Shaun’s recipe slightly as Lancaster is a chocho-less city 😂 and it had to be suitable for all palates, so it’s not spicy but still PACKED with flavour and goodness! (I like mine with a drizzle Sriracha - Flying Goose Brand stirred in for a lickle kick!) Get it til it’s gone!
