Changeover days — something some owners can dread. Thankfully, 99% of our guests leave the cottages clean and tidy, and some days, they leave them so spotless you’d never know they’d even been here! One of our recent guests was just like that, and they even left us a lovely “Thank You” gift.
It really means a lot when guests show their appreciation with a small token or gesture after a great stay — especially when they don’t want to leave.
We are so glad they enjoyed themselves, we look forward to welcoming them back again soon!

The Somerset Steam & Country Show is back on the 19th–20th July 2025 at Low Ham near Langport – and it’s always a local favourite! It’s a proper celebration of Somerset’s heritage and a brilliant day out for all ages.

Expect steam engines, classic cars, motorcycles, mower racing, trade stands, a kids’ area, and the amazing Flying Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show – plus a bar to keep you going!
