Took a short hiatus as we transition into our winter work projects whilst keeping up with our maintenance jobs but we are back! So much fun seeing the transition into autumn as the insects get sleepier, the air gets colder and the leaves change colour! Such a wonderful gift to work outside and witness the changing of the seasons 🐦🍂🌰

Our dear friends that we've spotted over the last week are here to tell you we've launched an Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok for our new up and coming charity Bluebird Inspire! A charity brought together by the thoughtful and compassionate team members of Bluebird Gardening who harbour a love and understanding of all natures habitats, ecosystems and all our little friends that find a home in them. Another wonderful day! W**ding out bindweed, trimming some laurels, building a hibernaculum out of an old compost spot! A variation of maintenance and conservation work we can do for you and your garden!

Some absolutely glorious shots of just a sliver of the wildlife we encounter out in our gardens! It's as much their home as it is ours, so this summer when they're catching the sun just as we are remember to watch your step, be mindful, and check hedges before trimming! Just as our equally as glorious teammate Mark is doing in the last slide! ☀️🌲🐸

The Bluebirds said goodbye to our gaffer George this week. Sad times but we were lucky to have such a happy, freckly and lovely boss for so long. We’ll carry on doing you proud Georgie Lad. Rest easy

Our biggest pond restoration project of 2025 (so far)! To rewild this old fish pond our first major issue was to shallow out the banks of the pond so wildlife can get in and out of it. We did this with Manny tones of sand and stones and then boulders, hopefully these will create lots of small spaces aquatic life can use, plus provide a structure to climb out of the pond. Around the pond we created Hibernaculum's for hibernating amphibians and an overflow marsh making lots of different wetland habitats for wildlife to take advantage of. Meanwhile Mark finished making the pergola and was very proud. To celebrate we sacrificed him to the gods in the new stone circle. Okay maybe not, but we did build a stone circle.
