🚨SAAS 4,000M PEAKS TRAVERSE

Climb beautiful Swiss 4,000m peaks above the Saas valley.

👀 On this guided climbing week we focus on the superb collection of Swiss 4,000m peaks which form the skyline of the picturesque Saas valley including the Lagginhorn, Nadelhorn, Allalinhorn and Weissmies. Climbing at a 1:2 ratio gives us the flexibility to climb some of the areas most varied and classic routes.

❓ This is an intermediate-level trip. You need to have some alpine mountaineering experience, be very competent in the use of ice axe and crampons and have good scrambling skills. A good level of general fitness is required, as summit days involve 5-9 hours climbing at altitude.

🚨 ADAMELLO MOUNTAINEERING

Want to start alpine climbing?

Our Level 1 Adamello Alpine Mountaineering Course is perfect for keen hikers who want to get into mountaineering and learn the skills needed for safe travel on glaciated terrain.

👀The week includes a multi-day, high-level hut traverse of the Adamello Range, making ascents of classic 3,300m - 3,500m peaks along the way. The course is based around the largest glacier in Italy, in the idyllic Adamello massif. With great huts, excellent Italian food and far fewer people than the Western Alps, it’s ideal for anyone looking for a quieter trip in a wild area.

❓To take part, you need good general fitness and experience walking in UK mountains (summer or winter). Some scrambling or indoor/outdoor climbing experience is also useful, as is plenty of enthusiasm and willingness to learn some new skills.

🚨ITALIAN 4,000M PEAKS TRAVERSE

Want to climb seven 4,000m peaks in a week?

👀The Italian 4,000m Peaks Traverse is one of the most famous high-altitude hut-to-hut tours in the Alps. This is a week-long high-altitude hut-to-hut tour, you’ll traverse along the Italian side of the Monte Rosa chain, climbing seven 4,000ers along the way.

❓This is an intermediate-level trip. You need some basic alpine experience but this is a very accessible week, suitable for fit hillwalkers with ice axe and crampon experience, as well as climbers wanting to build up their tally of 4,000ers.

Want to stand on top of the Matterhorn this summer? We have spaces left on three of our weeks.

👀This is a dedicated guiding week focused on climbing the Matterhorn. It’s a long and committing ascent and dry, snow-free conditions are required on the route to reach the summit safely. The acclimatisation and training program at the start of the week is guided at 2:1, with the Matterhorn ascent guided at 1:1.

❓This is an advanced-level trip. You need good-quality previous AD alpine climbing experience and must be agile enough on rock to move quickly and safely over exposed scrambling terrain as well as climb V Diff rock pitches quickly in big boots with a rucksack on. Your guide will undertake a series of training climbs at the start of the week to confirm your current fitness and ability levels before embarking on the ascent. Climbing the Matterhorn also requires good levels of fitness as the summit day involves 8-12 hours of technical climbing at high altitude.
