A snap shot of our week away in Cala D'or Majorca.

It feels like a distant memory already especially with this weekends stormy weather.

Our stay at the Inturotel Sa Marina was excellent. A high standard apartment complex in the centre of the resort and just a 6 minute walk to the marina.

It boasts two large pools with plenty of sunloungers too.

We've enjoyed beach days in the many coved beaches dotted around the resort( I was brave and jumped off the rocks with Ethan) and some beautiful meals at the many restaurants in the resort square in the evenings.

Rain wasn't on the agenda as we did get that massive storm but other than that we had great weather.

All in all a fab family week together.

Enjoying our last full day before normality resumes.

We've had an amazing week together minus the massive storm but a holiday is what you make it and we've never laughed so much belting it home in the rain.

I will be back in the office from the 24th October but for now I will be sat right here until the last bit of sun goes in.

A mixed bag of weather today.

Woke to torrential rain then we headed out for a wander. Enjoyed coffee and a cake at the local cafe before walking it off.

I took Alex, Ruby and Ethan to the hotel I used to stay in 35 years ago, walked to the coved beach that I had so many happy days on.

By the time we made it back to the hotel the clouds were breaking and the sun was coming through.

Hopefully our last couple of days are sunny.

I can confirm the weather is a big improvement from yesterdays storm so we will be spending the day by the pool.

*Wait for the lightening strike*

As a Travel Agent you can never predict the weather....not even Storm Adam that has hit the Island of Majorca tonight.

As true Brits we said.....,"it will be right" and headed out for drinks ignoring the dark grey clouds above us.

My Dad sent a warning text this morning saying they had had a mega storm in Alicante and it was heading our way....still ignored it.

The wind picked up as we walked to the Marina for drinks and a drink is all we managed.

Our phones alarmed with a government warning signal and it sent the bar staff into a frenzy packing away chairs.

We still planned on going for a Chinese but as we left the bar the heavens opened.

We abandoned the Chinese and walked home.

Ethan is upset.....his best trousers are soaked, Pops(my dad) sent the storm and we didnt make it to the Chinese.

All safe back in the apartment and we will watch the rest of the storm from our balcony.

After a very long day we have checked in to the beautiful Inturotel Sa Marina in Cala D'or.

As we taxied on the runway at 7:30am this morning I received a text from a customer who had arrived at London Heathrow to find they had left her husbands passport with his USA visa in it at home😳. Before I activated aeroplane mode I sent an SOS to my TC buddy Deborah and by the time I had landed they were moved onto a later flight and their neighbour had driven like a bat out of hell to deliver them their missing passport.....all in a days work and I owe Deb big time for saving the day.

Our car transfer was waiting for us when we arrived and we got here in good time.

I'm certainly ready for a rest. This mornings holiday scare certainly had me fretting a little but its why my customers book with me.....we get the job done.

Its w**e time on the balcony now while we start showers to get ready to head out.

Looking forward to spending our week here in Cala D'or. ❤️

How is it Mid October already. 😳

Where are the days and weeks going but having had my busiest October on record I definitely need.....another holiday🫢.

Im blessed that my children now have 2 whole weeks off for October half term now 🙄so we are spending a week in the sunshine.

We are heading to Cala D'or in Majorca and we can not wait. Its been 37 years since I last came here as it was where I holidayed as a child with my family. I had some of my best childhood memories here so hoping to make new ones with my own family.

This was a last minute change to our plans as we always go stay with my Dad and Clare at their lovely villa in Spain but my Dad needed a little operation so he is recuperating in peace. I've promised Dad to take Ruby & Ethan to the Don Leonne restaurant he used to take me and my sisters to in Cala D'or for a pizza and to send him photos.....I will Dad I promise😘

For now I will be typing up my last booking of the day and switching on my out of office.....oh and packing my case!!!

I will be back from the 26th October. ✈️

A nip and a punch its the 1st of the month. 🐇🐇

Took my freckles and my tired face for a walk this morning. The weather is still so nice so I laced up my walking boots and got those steps in.

Walking helps me process my day ahead so I'm ready and raring to go.

In the office all day if you need me.

A fabulous weekend for a group of ladies wanting to enjoy the Bucharest Spa experience.

Their package included:
✈️Return flights from Leeds/Bradford
🏠Accommodation
🚗Return private car transfers.
🤩Entry into the Therme Spa.

In their words....
Hi Natalie. Thank u for planning another fabulous, hassle free trip for us. We’ve had a great time and everything ran smoothly. Hotel was great and was in a central location..bars and restaurants literally 30 second walk away. The spa was lovely and we upgraded to the VIP section. We got that at a discounted price as the waterpark section was closed for maintenance. Definitely worth it as there’s loads more to do up there."

I noted their feedback on their accommodation being central but could be noisy so this is always good to know for next time.

They are now in talks for their next Spa weekend away so looking forward to researching somewhere new.
