A Brit in love with Finland Fell in love with Finland and it's people, trying to learn the language and planning multiple trips! Since then, I've thought of nowhere else.

I had the fortune to travel to and get married in Äkäslompolo, Finland in January 2016. I've started this page to share the things I take interest in about Finland and the Finnish people with whom I feel a certain affinity. I'll also share some phrases as I go along trying to learn the language - which I assure you is not easy! If you ever want to share a phrase, please feel free to post or message with me.
