🇺🇸 Are you travelling to the USA? 🇺🇸

There’s an important ESTA (electronic online visa waiver authorisation application) update.

Even if your ESTA was approved in the past, it’s now crucial to check it again before you travel.

US authorities are cancelling previously approved ESTAs whereby the photo you used was a passport-style image, rather than a live photo.

You must now upload a current selfie taken at the time of application. Using a scanned passport photo or an older image could mean your ESTA is cancelled, often without warning.

If an ESTA is cancelled and you only find out on the day you travel:
✈️ You could be stopped from boarding your flight.
🚢 Cruise passengers may also be affected if your itinerary includes US ports.

You should :
⭐ Use the official ESTA app
⭐ Take a clear, live selfie
⭐ Double-check your ESTA status about a week prior to travelling to USA.
⭐ Reapply straight away if anything has changed.
⭐ Always rely on the official CBP website.
