Have you taken a ride on the Sussex Art Shuttle?

A hop-on hop-off service linking local galleries and villages from Towner in Eastbourne to Charleston, the Sussex Art Shuttle runs Friday – Sundays each week, and on Bank Holiday Mondays.

Tickets cost £3 for a single and £5 for an all day pass, with travellers aged under 19 able to travel for free. ‘Green Traveller’ discounted tickets for entry into Charleston in Firle will also be issued on board.

Open 7 days a week from 10am - 5pm, visitors can enjoy a day full of intrigue and adventure with exhibitions for hands-on history, a fantastic outdoor playground and the opportunity to discover the Battery Observation Post.

Even better - entry tickets are valid for 12 months so you can visit again and again during their seasonal open hours at no extra charge.

Lewes Castle & Museum is free to explore from 11 - 13 September as part of Heritage Open Days!

Visitors can also get hands-on with artefact handling on 11 September from 10am - 4pm, and on 13 September from 10am - 1pm.

Please note: The towers will be closed during 11 - 13 September.
