APPRECIATION INCOMING…
So overwhelmed with all of the feedback and comments from my wonderful customers.
I love what I do, I know a lot of you have become personal friends too, so a big shout out to you all. A huge thank you for choosing me, Leanne Furnival of Not Just Travel With Lea Running your own business is HARD, with endless ups and downs and a fear of the unknown, as many of us know.
But as long as we are passionate about what we do, we will grow!

Not Just Travel With Lea - A light hearted true story 📖😊
Well in the nicest possible way, if you can’t beat the direct site, I might as well just book it myself as it's not really saving me anything is it?
That’s what a prospective customer, we’ll call her Karen, said to me some months ago. I’d spent several hours choosing the perfect hotel, and quoted the customer based on the price that matched with the Jet2 direct site.
Karen Subsequently booked it herself.✈️ Karen was also a very lovely and busy mum, working full time with little down time due to the kids…sound familiar? The holiday was booked in a short space of time…sorted! Easy peasy lemon squeezy 🍋and all by herself, clever Karen⭐️
But...
A couple of months later, a name change needed to be made, cue 60 mins on the phone to Jet2 for Karen 📲, who had to call after she’d finished work, in-between cooking tea and kids activities. Flippin nightmare.🤹🏼
Then a month later, a surprising change in circumstance lead to the need for a holiday date change 📅, yet another phone call to Jet2 and Karen lets out an exasperated response of, “I really haven’t got time for this” 😤 An hour later, several date checks, quotes, and poor Karen’s head is well and truly blown with all of the numbers flying around, admin fee this, additional cost that however, the new date is finally confirmed.🤯
4 weeks before travel ✈️an email saying there may be renovations at the nearby hotel taking place so some disturbance and noise 📣may be experienced! What? Exactly how bad is it? Should i looked to change or cancel? I need more details…another phone call to Jet2 for Karen 🤯⏰
Last but not least, check in! She messages the group chat, “I need all of your passports to check in please guys?” ping, ping ping they come through, “not clear enough, I cant see the passport number”, ping, ping, ping back and forth📲 At last, Karen adds the API info and checkin completed later that night. 👩🏼💻
Now Karen’s got to try and somehow share these boarding passes with everyone so they have their own 🤔cue google search “how do I share boarding passes from my apple wallet?” Ta da, all done and it’s only taken a little over an hour.⏰🎟️
Weirdly as a travel concierge I take care of all of this for you🙋🏼♀️ So next time you think, I’ll just book it myself, think of all of the ifs, buts, why’s, where’s and maybe’s.
