Our lovely American clients, some returning and some new, were hosted to a delightful private tea party by Lady Ashcombe at Sudeley Castle last week as part of their ‘Great American Revival’ programme; discovering the history of English county houses and estates supported, and sometimes transformed, by fortunes hailing from the United States. This itinerary included many notable locations including Hidcote Manor, Berkeley Castle, Blenheim Palace and Hever Castle.
