Here's three things we bet you didn't know about Banff National Park in Canada:

1. It was Canada's first ever National Park! It was designated in 1885 - but wasn't known as Banff until 1930. There's now 40 National Parks all across the country! 🌳
2. If you travel down the Icefields Parkway which connects Banff to nearby Jasper National Park (which you will on our Western Canada combo tour!) you can expect to see around 100 glaciers. Some are thought to be up to 120 million years old! ❄️
3. Banff National Park is home to the country's highest town - Lake Louise stands at a vertigo-inducing 5,200ft! 🏔
