I believe in a simple philosophy: protect those behind you, support those in front of you, and respect those beside you - It’s a principle I strive to uphold every day.

If you have had the privilege of meeting/spending time with me (I see your eyes rolling 😂), you will note two things:

1. I ask a lot of questions (I see you nodding 😉)

2. I am lazy in some respects.

For instance, I enjoy reading biographies, particularly about people’s journeys in various aspects of life, like parenthood and entrepreneurship. I believe in learning from others’ successes and failures rather than reinventing the wheel.

Throughout my personal and professional journey, I’ve been fortunate to meet many mentors who generously shared their experiences with me.

So, it was a privilege to pay it forward at the Warwick Malaysian Summit organised by the Warwick Malaysian Students Association (WMSA) at the University of Warwick over the weekend. To the Warwick Malaysian Students Association students, thank you for hosting the summit. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.

I was impressed by the maturity of the questions and the respect and confidence displayed by the students I met and spoke to.

I wish you all the very best in your future endeavours.
