Unalike Unalike is a lifestyle platform that fosters meaningful connections dedicated to slow living, mindful travel and art & design.

Unalike is a lifestyle platform dedicated to slow living, mindful travel, and art & design that fosters meaningful connections. Founded by Lithuanian filmmaker Lina Lapinskiene and Swedish creative Stephanie Silva, the site grew from a shared love of discovering beauty in the details and telling stories that connect people to places, ideas, and each other. Inspired by the value of authenticity and

intentionality, Unalike celebrates thoughtfully curated experiences — showcasing unique hotels, sustainable design, inspiring art, and the art of mindful living. At its core, Unalike is about collaboration. We connect thinkers, makers, and creators from across the globe, shining a light on spaces and people that redefine design and the creative world beyond. From eco-conscious destinations to artisans and artists shaping everyday beauty, our stories explore the intersection of craftsmanship, culture, and nature. We are especially passionate about sharing the stories of people who dare to live their truth — individuals who have overcome challenges, embraced vulnerability, and chosen authenticity over convention. Their strength and creativity are not only inspiring but often life-changing, reminding us of the power of resilience and the beauty of a purposefully lived life. Through Unalike, we invite you to step off the beaten path, slow down, and experience the world in a deeper, more authentic way.

We’re spending the week in Paris, where spring has officially begun. The sunshine, longer days, and blooming streets somehow make everything feel lighter and calmer.

Where is better than Paris in the spring?

In the studio where history meets curiosity.
We had a chat with Thomas Schrenk, an artist whose work feels just as intentional and inquisitive as he is.

From painting in historic Vienna spaces to finding new meaning in the everyday, his approach to art is about attention, process, and letting chance play its part. He balances structure with freedom and creates systems that allow the unexpected to come alive, whether on canvas or in conversation.

Very grateful for this connection. Thomas is the kind of person whose words immediately draw you in — thoughtful, warm, and genuinely curious. Even through a simple exchange, you can sense the depth and kindness behind his work. The kind of creative mind you don’t just interview, but truly appreciate encountering.
