17 out of 24 days. 42 elephants 🐘 100+ dolphins 🐬 Several Peacocks 🦚, 2 leopards 🐆

One man who made it all possible.

What started as a 10-day trip with driver became 17 days because when you find someone truly exceptional, you don't rush the ending.

Sujeewa came into this journey as my driver. He's leaving it as one of the most generous, thoughtful people I've ever had the privilege of meeting. His punctuality (always early), his quiet wisdom, his instinct to protect a solo traveller, his patience with my chaotic last minute itinerary changes... all of it made Sri Lanka feel like it was made for me to discover.

We saw 42 elephants. Over 100 dolphins, plenty of Peacocks. And two leopards, which our guides told us was almost unheard of. Some trips just align and I know a big part of that magic was who I was sharing it with.

He surprised me with a handmade book cover and keyring on our official last day together. He then further surprised me on my last day in Sri Lanka with some baked goods I'd made on our cooking class. I surprised myself by adding an entire extra week to the trip 😅

Sri Lanka, I did you justice. And Sujeewa, I'll be back. With the husband and the baby 👶 😍 😅

✨ I started this ‘little travel thing’ in 2021… and had no idea how much it would change me.

When I first joined this business back in 2021, I honestly treated it like a side project. I booked travel for friends and family, saved money on my own trips and loved having access to wholesale rates.

But deep down, I knew there was so much more to this opportunity that I hadn’t tapped into.

Then, in September, something clicked. I decided to take it seriously, to show up, to stay consistent and to see what would happen if I gave it real focus.

And already, the results are flourishing 🙌

💡 I’m learning from leaders who show up EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

💡 I’m attending events, growing in confidence, and finally building something that feels like mine.

🌍 This isn’t an office…

this is Quinzano, Italy.

When I started my side travel business, this was the dream: being able to work from anywhere.

And today, it’s my reality! Laptop open, sunshine on my face, stunning views in Quinzano 🇮🇹.

Here’s what freedom looks like for me 👇

😓 The real price of the 9–5 grind isn’t just your time. It's your LIFE.

We’re told the 9–5 is “safe.” But here’s what it’s really costing so many of us 👇

⚡ Energy: drained from endless hours and back-to-back deadlines.

💔 Family: missed dinners, school runs, and moments that matter.

💸 Potential: capped salaries no matter how hard you work.

🩺 Health: sitting too long, stress levels high, body showing warning signs.

I’ve lived this... long law firm hours, rushed meals, even a health scare from sitting too long. That was my wake-up call.

The truth? “Safe” isn’t really safe when it costs your well-being, relationships, and freedom.

From the courtroom to the podium… sharing my passion for travel + freedom ✈️

One of my favourite parts of building a side travel business? The people.

I recently attended my Travel Business Meeting and being surrounded by ambitious, inspiring women (and a few men 😉) reminded me why I started.

For 17+ years I worked in law. Long days, endless deadlines. Networking felt like a chore. Now, when I walk into a room like this, it’s about connection, collaboration, and building futures together. A few prizes were won too (one lovely pair of stripey toe socks 😅).

Travel has given me more than just memories. It’s given me a community. And moments like this (up on the podium 🙈) remind me how far I’ve already come.

While most people Netflix… here’s how I spent 45 mins tonight 👀 Most Sunday nights are about winding down with Netflix. Nothing wrong with that. But I decided to swap one episode a night for building my Plan B.

And here’s what those 45 mins looked like tonight:

✅ Followed up with 4 prospects
✅ Scheduled tomorrow’s content
✅ Brainstormed new offers

That’s it. Not hours. Just consistent, focused pockets of time. And those pockets are changing my future.
