Yesterday at our TC Together conference in London, I was completely surprised to be called up on stage by our CEO, Steve Byrne, to receive this award.

It recognises the work I’ve been doing with customers who were due to travel to and via the Middle East: the hours spent calmly talking through options, finding alternative destinations, and helping them feel in control again.

I don’t do this job for awards, but I am genuinely proud of this one. Looking after people properly, especially when things are uncertain, is the part of my work that matters most to me, so to have that noticed and recognised by Travel Counsellors HQ means a great deal.

Thank you to my amazing customers for your patience and faith. I’m so proud and grateful to be recognised for simply trying to do the right thing by my customers every single time.
