Time to reintroduce myself 😊
I’m Sarah, the owner of African Star Tours, a company I proudly set up almost 10 years ago. We’ll officially celebrate our 10th birthday in July, and there will definitely be a glass of bubbly involved! 🥂
Over the last decade, African Star Tours has grown from a small idea built on passion and experience into a specialist tour operator offering tours to 35 African countries, with new destinations continually being added.
Africa has truly captured my heart. The continent offers such incredible diversity, not only in landscapes and wildlife, but also in culture, history and human connection. Of course, I absolutely love the thrill of a game drive and the excitement of spotting wildlife in its natural environment. Even after more than 500 game drives over the years, I still never get bored. Sitting in a safari vehicle searching for incredible animals remains one of my happiest places in the world.
But for me, travel is about far more than wildlife alone. One of the things I value most is meeting people from different countries, learning about their lives, traditions and history, and then sharing those experiences with our travellers in a meaningful way.
At African Star Tours, I still strongly believe in selling destinations we have personally experienced ourselves. It’s incredibly important to me that we can speak honestly and knowledgeably with clients, helping match people with the right destinations, accommodations and experiences based on what they truly want from their travels.
I don't just love travel in Africa, I’ve personally visited 105 countries so far.... with a couple of new ones planned for 2026.... but nowhere has ever connected with me in quite the same way as countries in Africa.
