📍 This time last month, over 60 challengers took on the ProperTrek in support of NSPCC!

The team came together to walk 30km through London, raising an incredible £18,500 to support the NSPCC’s work keeping children safe from abuse and neglect. 💚

42km through Manchester, for a cause that matters 🚶‍♀️ 🏢🌿

On 25th September, 55 challengers took on the Manchester Canals Trek in support of The Drinks Trust, following historic canals, vibrant waterfronts and iconic Mancunian landmarks from Sale to the city centre 🐝

The Drinks Trust supports people working across the drinks industry, providing practical, financial and emotional support to help them navigate challenging times. With tomorrow, it’s a timely reminder of the importance of looking after our mental health and making sure support is there for those who need it. 💚 🍸

A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped raise awareness for this important cause!

Countless Steps. Endless Views. One very determined team. 🩷🥾

One month ago, 120 incredible people took on the CoppaTrek! with Gi Great Wall of China Challenge, raising an astounding £779,374 for CoppaFeel! - supporting their mission to educate, encourage and empower people to check their chests.

With thousands of uneven steps, steep climbs, knee-aching descents, twists and turns, it was no easy feat. A huge congratulations to every challenger who took on the Wall! 🥇

And a massive thank you to Celebrity Captains Giovanna Fletcher, Dr Punam Krishan, Erin Kennedy OBE, Sara Davies, Vicky Pattison, Vice Captains Candice Brown, Dee Swales, Kelly Crump, our Challenge Leaders, ground team and staff for bringing the adventure to life and supporting the trekkers every step of the way. ✨

Somewhere deep in the Sumatran jungle…🌿🦎

In early September, our challengers headed into Gunung Leuser National Park for five days of trekking through dense, humid rainforest, crossing rivers and navigating their steep, muddy banks.

Along the way, they had the chance to spot some of Sumatra’s most elusive wildlife and experience the jungle at its wildest. They even had some up-close encounters with the mighty orangutan! 🦧

So this month, we’re shining our Charity Spotlight on Sepsis Research, the UK charity dedicated to funding research and raising public awareness of sepsis. Its mission is to turn promising scientific ideas into better diagnosis, treatments and outcomes for patients and families.

We’re proud to support their fundraisers as they take on unforgettable Charity Challenges, including the Snowdon at Night Challenge in October, an upcoming Sahara Desert Trek, and an exciting exclusive Sepsis Research Jurassic Coast Trek is also on the horizon. Watch this space! 🥾

Wildlife, white water and a seriously wild adventure. 🌊🛶🦛

Our challengers had a blast on their Zambezi River Challenge, paddling over 100km through one of Africa’s most spectacular wildernesses. 🌅

From spotting hippos, elephants and crocodiles along the river to working as a team to raft through some of the world’s most tempestuous white-water rapids, this was a real dare-devil experience. 🐘🐊

Camping beside the river brought its own excitement too - from noisy nights surrounded by wildlife to elephant-watching while eating breakfast! ⛺☀️

28 colleagues. Three Peaks. Over £27,000 raised for British Heart Foundation. ⛰️

This month, the team at Dalkia took on our National Three Peaks Challenge, tackling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa together!

As challenger Daniel Torres put it:

At 84, she’s already taken on eight treks and isn't stopping there...

But it all started with a little encouragement from her son and a 26-mile Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge she wasn’t sure she could do. She gave it a go, discovered she was capable of more than she thought - and hasn’t looked back since. ⛰️
