You should Jiuzhai-go here ASAP. 😝
I first visited Jiuzhaigou 11 years ago, when it took 10 hours on a coach from Chengdu. Now, you can reach the national park in under 4 hours on the high speed train and a quick shuttle. 🚅
This place is truly magical! I’ve never seen such colourful lakes and the many waterfalls are just incredible. 😍
I’d say it’s a hidden gem, but maybe only to western visitors. There are a lot of Chinese tourists, but luckily it didn’t feel too crowded during our visit. ✨

A morning coffee on the deck of with views of Aswan is next level. ☕️☀️
We enjoyed views of the sailboats passing by, before heading on our own journey to Philae temple.
Located on an island, we had our own private boat to get there. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis and so beautiful to explore. ✨
We then sailed through Aswan Reserve, which was so serene - taking in the stunning natural beauty. 🌴
We reached the vibrant and colourful Nubian Village for a visit. I loved the brightly painted houses, they are so fun!
We spent our final afternoon onboard Soleil, relaxing by the pool and savouring the delicious food onboard.
This was truly a once in a lifetime kind of trip. Exploring ancient Egyptian sites every day and then retreating to the luxury of the ship. I can’t recommend it enough! ☺️

Days spent cruising down the Nile onboard . 🌴
We woke up in Edfu and after a delicious breakfast headed to explore Edfu Temple with our private guide.
A huge perk of sailing with is that everyone has their own tour guide who stays with them throughout the trip. No following a huge group, it’s a personalised experience.🙌
I loved discovering how different the temple was from the other places we had previously seen.
Once we were back onboard, we set sail again and spent time enjoying the amenities. From lounging by the pool to relaxing at the spa with a view, it was a great afternoon.😍
We had an evening tour of Kom Ombo Temple and seeing these incredible sites at night is so magical. They are lit up and it feels so atmospheric. ✨
This place was truly fascinating, especially the museum of crocodile mummies. They found over 300 in close proximity to the temple!! 🐊
The rest of the night was spend indulging in a phenomenal dinner and cocktails at the bar. 🍸
I did not want this trip to end!
