It would be right to say that Italy is no short of any fairytale places that are also listed as World Heritage Sites, take for example the city of Venice, which is magical in itself. Located in Campania, in the south of is ’s most scenic mountainous coastline, Amalfi Coast. The name obviously comes from the closest town ‘Amalfi’, the coastline is a designated World Heritage Site. In the North there is Sorrento, which is itself a tourist attraction site, for decades these towns were fishing villages of Italy and major contributors of the country’s economy. But these days they are major tourist attraction sites as the tourism industry flourished in the past two decades.
