When Chef Assaf Granit joined the EL AL family, we embarked on a culinary journey like no other.
Behind every dish is a story, one that begins long before it reaches your plate.
It starts in the fields and farms, with the people who grow and cultivate the finest ingredients our land has to offer.
It’s a story of roots, of culture, of spirit, and of a true connection between people, land, and kitchen.
We continue to perfect every detail, from flavor and texture to presentation, to turn our culinary vision into a complete, authentic, and moving experience.
One that takes you on a global journey of taste, yet still makes you feel right at home.

EL AL Reopens Flight Sales To And From Israel. Customers Still Awaiting Recovery Can Be Assigned To An Alternative Flight.
EL AL is reopening ticket sales to and from Israel. Starting yesterday, EL AL began increasing its flight schedule and adding frequencies from key gateways where Israelis who have not yet returned home are staying.
Company customers who have not yet been assigned to recovery flights to Israel and hold an EL AL or Sundor ticket for a canceled flight can contact the service center or their travel agents (for those who booked through an agent) for assignment to an alternative flight.
These customers will not be charged an additional fee (for flights departing from the same region from which their original flight was canceled, e.g., Europe, USA/Far East).
Starting next week, EL AL's flight schedule will return to full operation for all company gateways. Customers holding tickets for departures from June 29 onwards (and Sundor customers from July 1) can check their flight status in 'Manage Booking' on the EL AL website or with their travel agents.
EL AL has published a uniform pricing structure for flights to Israel until June 30. For example, $99 from Larnaca, $149 from Athens, $230 from Rome, and $649 from New York.
Customers holding EL AL or Sundor flight tickets for departures until July 15 who do not wish to take this flight can cancel their flight (up to 72 hours before departure time) and receive a voucher for future use. Vouchers are valid for two years. A credit voucher can be issued independently on the EL AL website.
To date, EL AL has brought tens of thousands of its customers and Israelis who were staying in various gateways and whose flights were canceled due to the security events back to Israel.

EL AL Will Also Operate Outbound Flights From Israel Without Passenger Limit, And Will Expand Its Flight Schedule To Additional Gateways In The Coming Days.
Following the state's announcement to lift all restrictions on operations at Ben Gurion Airport (TLV), including the removal of limitations on outbound flights, EL AL is preparing to operate these flights with full seat availability, and to fly EL AL passengers whose flights were canceled starting from June 13 at no additional cost. Outbound flights will depart for gateways from which EL AL will be bringing passengers back to Israel.
The opening of the skies allows us to reinforce our flight schedule, with an emphasis on the eight gateways we have announced so far: Larnaca, Athens, Rome, Paris, London, Bangkok, New York, and Los Angeles.
Concurrently, we are expanding our flight schedule, and in the coming two days, we will also operate flights from the following gateways: Budapest, Bucharest, Amsterdam, Prague, Madrid, Milan, Warsaw, and Sofia.
It is important to emphasize that assignment to outbound and inbound flights will be done automatically by EL AL, based on registration via the form on the company's website, and at no additional cost for company customers whose flights were canceled. After all our customers have been assigned, flights will open for booking to the general public.

Subject to the ceasefire and the gradual reopening of Ben Gurion Airport: EL AL is preparing to operate an airlift to support the recovery of tens of thousands of passengers to Israel.
Following the ceasefire that came into effect today, and subject to the expansion of the recovery flight framework, EL AL is preparing to expand its flight schedule to and from Israel starting today. The airline is working on an airlift to bring passengers back to Israel, operating its fleet around the clock to add thousands of seats in the coming day.
Most EL AL passengers are currently in one of the eight gateways where the airline has been operating flights, so these gateways will continue to be reinforced, while the range of gateways will be gradually expanded. Tonight (Tuesday), recovery flights will also operate from Budapest and Bucharest.
Once EL AL passengers have been assigned to the recovery flights, the flights will be opened for public booking.
Please note that the airline has capped the prices of incoming (one-way) flights for those who are not EL AL passengers, and these prices will remain valid until the end of June. Flights from Los Angeles were opened for sale today on the EL AL website and through travel agents.
Attached is a list of the capped one-way ticket prices to Israel in Economy Class for a Lite ticket (except for U.S. gateways, where Classic will be sold). These prices are valid through the end of June:

EL AL was born in 1948 along with the State of Israel, not only as an airborne bridge between the fledgling State and the world, but as an expression of national existence and pride, as the Israeli flag adorning the aircraft's tail proudly appeared in destinations around the world.
The history of EL AL is entwined with the history of Israel. EL AL grew along with the State, sharing moments of glory and joy – promoting the country's growth and expanding its global reach. EL AL and its people were also there during days of sorrow and pain, answering the call of the nation.
EL AL continues to grow in step with the country. Although the airline was privatized economically several years ago, its national spirit and commitment to Israel have never wavered. EL AL continues its many national activities striving for excellence through the service it offers its passengers. EL AL will continue to grow and flourish with the State and to be the first choice of travelers to and from Israel.
The guidelines by which the company operates are creativity, efficiency, punctuality and professionalism, in order to meet its passengers requirements at all times and places.
Through broad global coverage supported by an international chain of 77 sales offices and warm Israeli hospitality, EL AL has become more than a means of transport from one place to another in the world. It has been ranked by IATA as one of the most efficient airlines in the world.
