Feeling hot & muggy? Imagine washing under Jordan falls in the wild Kanuku Mountains before cooking on a wild fire and getting into your hammock. GUYANA EXPEDITION INFORMATION - The group will arrive in Georgetown, Guyana and spend a night in a local hotel. The next day we'll be driven into the jungle in 4x4's. After no more than a couple of hours on the track, we'll throw our packs into a motorised dug out canoe and make our way into the interior and our start point. On this raw 10 day jungle trek we'll learn how to catch local food, and how to cook it. We'll also learn how to make fire using natural materials. Our aim is to see some of the world's most glorious species ranging from giant anteaters, the Jaguar and of course some of the most spectacular birdlife in the world. DEAD HEDGEHOG ALERT. Whilst travelling through Wadi Rum we found a hedgehog that had crawled into a plastic bottle and couldn't get out... Rubbish kills, recycle the plastic.
