Superb feedback from our customers who visited family fishing venue, Hunnyfields lake last week. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“We’ve just returned from a fantastic week at Hunnyfieldslake Lake with our family of four (including two teenage boys), and it couldn’t have been better. From the moment we arrived, Stephane and Keith gave us the warmest welcome and made us feel at home.
We booked the food package and were blown away by the quality—everything is homemade with produce from the grounds or locally sourced. Our first night’s beef lasagna, garlic bread, complimentary rosé, and incredible desserts set the tone for the whole week—absolutely delicious! Definitely choose the pizza-making experience too—homemade pizzas are prepared right in front of you, and our boys couldn’t get enough of the BBQ chicken pizza (they just wanted more and more!).
The lake (exclusive to guests) is superb for fishing, stocked with some great catches. We also loved the pool, table tennis, swing ball, and evenings spent with card games. Outside of Hunnyfields, we enjoyed go-karting, French markets, and even a 7km canoe trip down a beautiful river.
The accommodation, fishing, pool, and especially the food were outstanding. Stephane and Keith are fantastic hosts (as is Ollie the cat!), and Hunnyfieldslake is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy quality time as a family. We’ll definitely be back!”
