Guatapé isn’t just a pretty photo, it has a story behind every corner 🪨🇨🇴 This granite giant is over 65 million years old, and for the indigenous Tahamí people it was once a sacred site. Nobody reached the top until 1954, using nothing but ropes and wooden stakes, which is why the 740-step staircase built into the rock’s natural crack exists today.
