The reports highlight how cyberattacks could affect websites, electricity, water supplies, communication networks and even everyday payment systems.

Please consider keeping a reasonable amount of cash at home, along with at least three days’ worth of drinking water and non-perishable food. It is also wise to have a torch, spare batteries, a power bank, essential medicines and a battery-powered or wind-up radio.

With AI advancing rapidly, cybersecurity threats are evolving, and it is important that we remain alert and prepared. This does not mean we should panic, but we should never take the stability of our everyday services for granted.

We cannot predict what lies ahead, but we can take practical steps today to protect ourselves, our families and our loved ones.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of catering for a beautiful Celebration of Life at Walthamstow Cricket Club.
