Our season starts 3rd May with Sweeps festival at Rochester being our official opening at our new boarding platform.

Sail away: Enjoy a trip along the River Medway during this year’s Sweeps Festival ⛵

The first sailing from Limehouse Landing will take place during the Rochester Sweeps Festival. The new boat platform has been installed at Rochester Riverside, our flagship regeneration scheme.

During Sweeps weekend, you can enjoy a one-hour return trip from Limehouse Landing to Upnor and back, passing the submarine at Strood, Rochester Bridge and the ships of Chatham Dockyard. The sailings will take place during each of the three days of the festival (3,, 4 and 5 May).

Jetstream Tours will be running the sailings at the following times: 12:45pm, 2.15pm and 3.45pm. An 11:00am trip will also be available on Monday, 5 May.

Prices as follows:

Are you looking for a new adventure?

Jetstream Tours is looking for crew to join us for our 2025 season.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about the estuary and wants to promote local tourism for Sheppey, Rochester and Southend.

The position will be working aboard our vessel as part of a crew. You will be actively involve in the operation of a seagoing vessel conducting tours around the Thames Estuary and working face to face with the General public.

We are looking for someone who holds either:
-hold a Boat master licence or working towards their licence
-be familiar with engineering and expected to assist with vessel maintainance (an AEC is favourable)
-EDH certificate.

All candidates should:
-hold ancillary courses (First Aid, Fire and sea survival)
- hold an ENG1 or ML5.

A pod of about 20-30 Dolphins are currently fishing the waters of the Medway near Hoo island.

All seemed quite happy and swimming along merrily.

Tomorrow departing from Queenborough Discover the Coastline of Sheppey. From the diverse wildlife of Elmey and Hartey to the Cliffs of Eastchurch also including S.S. Richard Montgomery and eventually pass back in through Sheerness Harbour.
