London’s oldest esoteric bookshop is Watkins Books. Dating back to 1897, the store specialises in spirituality and occultism.

Tucked away in the beautiful Cecil Court, the shop is famously connected to writer, occultist and magician Aleister Crowley. In fact, Crowley’s first biography details a story in which he made all the books in Watkins disappear. ✨
