What a wonderful place to enjoy a spot of lunch. Arodamos Stone Grove is situated in a beautiful historic building in the village of Dafnes, just 15mins from Heraklion.

Family-run, our group was treated to some fabulous homemade starters and mains. Far too much food, but that’s Greek hospitality for you! 🇬🇷😋

Would highly recommend to anyone travelling through the area! 🙌

From the vineyards of Argyros Winery in Santorini, rows of low-trained vines stretch across volcanic soils towards the Aegean, with distant islands rising on the horizon.

An afternoon in Chania, where wine travel slows down 🇬🇷✨

Between winery visits, there’s time to simply soak it all in. And Chania is the perfect place to do just that.

Wine tasting in a monastery… not your average experience 🇬🇷🍷

At Agia Triada Monastery, the monastery produces its own olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar… and wine (the real highlight 👀). With oenologist Katerina, we explored the vineyards and winery, before a guided tasting with Nektarios - sampling both wines and olive oils.

A true taste of Crete, and a reminder that wine is as much about place as it is about what’s in the glass.

And we’re already in love with Crete… 🇬🇷🍷

The first stop on our tour, Karativakis Winery, was the perfect introduction to Greek wine - where tradition meets modern Cretan winemaking in a stunning vineyard setting.

With sommelier Fanis guiding us, we explored indigenous grapes like Vidiano, Muscat of Spinas, Liatiko and Kotsifali - each telling a story of the island.

Sunshine, incredible wines, and that unmistakable Greek hospitality… this is what wine travel is all about.
