Largely unchanged since the 17th century. Charming exterior with stain glass windows & wooden beams interior. Having explored nearby Regent & New Bond Street this was a enjoyable, truely London pub experience.

Hof’s Bar & Dining Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire
When you unexpectedly see a South Africa flag flying high above a door, you have to go in!
Greeted by proteas and array of saffa drinks behind the bar even creamsoda in the fridge!!

The accomplished young barman from New Zealand has the Saffas sussed when it comes to Rugby 😂, but when the 20 yr old tells you the wine comes from Robertson you know he has been well trained and proudly starts pointing to the bottles on the shelf offering the selection.

Menu potjie, now you're talking en koesisters 🤙

Pity it was spotted late in the day having enjoyed a full day at Henley-on-Thames.

Owner Saffa Chris was so personal, he said Saffa's travel from London to watch the Rugby here 🏉 I'm not surprised.

Deceptively large venue, lovely sized front bar with the dining area at the rear.

Will be back for food & to savour the Saffa Rugby gees 🇿🇦 🍻 🍷

Treehouse Hotels, Marylebone What a venue!!! This place got me from the moment I entered the door downstairs. I absolutely adore a place that has a undertone scent in the air.

Greeted by friendly and accommodating staff in dim lighting with sensuous decor (lighting is super important to me).

Friday and the place was in full swing with a lovely vibe. I ordered a glass of bacchus wine from the UK. Never had a bacchus before and wanted to try it. Loved it, clean with grassy hints.

Oh the venues speak for themselves. Stunning. Heating all around, wasn't windy so very pleasant. Waitor was very attentive. Most enjoyable, will return and on a sunny day for sure.

Kleinsky's Delicatessen, Mayfair, Capetonian owner. 🇿🇦

This is a lovely cafe, just off Oxford st near selfridges. Relaxed outside seating with heaters and a shade (for the 3 days of the UK 🇬🇧 summer)

Lovely inside with side tables along the wall on the way to a wider area at the rear.

Friendly owner from South Africa who came over to chat even though it was a super busy Sunday service.

Great service. Great tasting food.
Will definitely be back again.

Queen's Wood Cafe, Highgate. Delightful cafe in the woods, yet easily accessible from the main the road. Enjoy healthy meals & coffees and a woodland walk in these natural surroundings.

The Vine, Kentish Town. Shuffleboard if you fancy a game with good comfort food coming out of the kitchen. A venue where all can feel relaxed & enjoy.

The Audley Public House, Mayfair. Lively pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Felt spacious & light. Gorgeous exterior.

The Washington Belsize Park. Relaxed, friendly, great decor and oh so pleasant. Returned for the calamari.
