DECORAZON gallery

DECORAZON gallery DECORAZON is an international contemporary art gallery with current presence in Dallas, New York Cit We showcase artwork with strong concepts in all mediums.

DECORAZON Gallery presents professional emerging and mid-career talent to a new or experienced collector, with a selective and innovative program, providing personal attention to each of our clients. Decorazon Gallery was founded in 2004, by Hugo Garcia Urrutia, as a platform for emerging artists and cultural exchange in Dallas, Texas. In 2005, MK Semos, with a background in photography exhibition

, joined the gallery. Since then the two of them have worked as a team, collaborating in artistic and curatorial projects, launching the gallery to a broader international market. One of Decorazon Gallery’s objectives is marketing artists’ use of un-orthodox substrates and surprising use of materials. The gallery continues to challenge the notion of discovery and development of emerging artists, while further advancing mid-career artists.

The gallery is open — come experience ANISOTROPY.

Today we’re highlighting the work of David E. Peterson, whose approach to abstraction is shaped by industrial and product design. His Puzzle series combines precisely cut and layered wood, acrylic, and resin, often featuring richly grained exotic woods, creating compositions that feel both sculptural and meticulously engineered.

These works reveal their depth, materiality, and craftsmanship in person.

Visit us this week to see the exhibition.

International Women’s Day ✨

Today, and every day, we celebrate the artists who shape culture, challenge perspectives, and expand the visual language of our time.

With gratitude to the extraordinary women artists in our community. 🤩✨

Today we’re highlighting the powerful work of Ellen Von Wiegand, whose striking linocut series explores identity, memory, and the quiet strength of introspection.

Carved by hand and printed with remarkable sensitivity, each work carries the physical trace of the artist’s process - the deliberate cut of the blade, the rhythm of repetition, the contrast of light and shadow. The result is imagery that feels both intimate and universal.

Von Wiegand’s figures invite us into moments of reflection - portraits that speak to resilience, vulnerability, and the layered experience of womanhood.

Year of the Fire Horse 🐎🔥
In many cultures, the Horse symbolizes freedom, momentum, and strength. The Fire Horse adds passion, brilliance, and fearless forward motion.

We’re celebrating this powerful energy with dynamic horse paintings by Eric Robitaille - works that capture movement, spirit, and raw vitality. Each piece feels like a declaration:
move boldly, trust instinct, and charge toward what’s next.

For collectors and designers alike, these works bring life to a space—dramatic, elegant, and full of presence.

Here’s to a year of
✨ courage
✨ creativity
✨ and unstoppable energy

Liz Barber brings movement, light, and layered color into form - a reminder that art can reflect nature’s rhythms and soothe the mind.
Her luminous abstracts - inspired by water, ocean currents, and the ebb and flow of memory - feel especially right as winter storms sweep across the country. Let these gentle layers of shape and color be a quiet pause in your weekend. 🤍🤍
Stay warm, stay safe, and take a moment to breathe. ⛄️

✨✨Happy New Year 2026✨✨

We welcomed the new year in Santa Fe, New Mexico - a place of profound beauty, living history, and creative spirit. From moments of movement and ritual, time spent with dear friends and collaborators, to the quiet magic✨ of the landscape itself, these days reminded us why we do what we do.

We’re especially grateful for time at SITE Santa Fe, for conversations inside the marvellous Charlotte Jackson’s iconographic gallery, for connecting with Erin Cone, one of our super-star 🌟 painters of 15 years, mystical staircases, soaking in the calm and inspiration of the historic Loretto Inn - and for being immersed in the color, architecture, rhythm, and soul of Santa Fe.🌞

As we step into 2026, we do so with intention and gratitude. Thank you to all of our artists, patrons, collectors, designers, supporters, and collaborators - your trust, vision, and curiosity continue to shape everything we build.

Here’s to a year of positive new beginnings, inspired collaborations, and meaningful work ahead.✨🦋

With appreciation,
Decorazon Gallery

🍁✨ Al Saralis — “Nothing Gold Can Stay”

There’s something quietly breathtaking about this moment… a figure paused in glowing red, bending gently toward the earth as autumn gathers around her.

Al Saralis captures that fleeting shift of the season - warmth meeting cool air, color dissolving into light, and a softness that feels at once intimate and timeless. His brushwork blurs memory and emotion, leaving us suspended in a scene that feels both familiar and dreamlike.

A perfect piece for this time of year… and a reminder of just how beautiful the in-between moments can be.✨
