There was a time I thought being left out was the wound.
But as I’ve healed, I’ve realised it was only triggering something that had been there for years.
A little girl who wondered why her dad walked away.
Why she wasn’t chosen.
Why she didn’t feel like enough.
It’s heartbreaking how easily children turn someone else’s choices into beliefs about themselves.
Those beliefs followed me into adulthood in ways I didn’t even realise.
Until I became a mum.
Now, every hug, every “I’m proud of you,” every moment I choose connection over distraction is my way of reminding my girls of something I wish I’d known sooner…
✨ They are wanted.
✨ They are deeply loved.
✨ They have always been enough.
Healing isn’t about pretending the past didn’t hurt.
It’s about making sure the hurt ends with you. 🤍
And if this brought up something for you today, I just want you to know…
My door is always open. 🤍
Whether you need someone to listen, someone who understands, or simply a safe space to share, you’re never alone.
