Comparison is the thief of joy.

There was a time when I looked up to those “who have made it.” Thankfully, one Director advised us to stop comparing ourselves with others because it’s so easy to fall into that trap — especially when comparing my beginning to someone else’s 6 years in this travel business, right?

But God didn’t make duplicates.
He made originals.
Just like my two brothers who are twins, yet both have completely different talents and personalities.

I’m so grateful to be surrounded by successful Directors who pour into us daily with 20-minute boost talks, sharing their journeys, lessons, and struggles from when they first started.

And it’s true…
Growth takes time, consistency, and belief.
But above all, authenticity is what makes the difference. So there is absolutely no need for me to compare myself with others.

I’d rather stay in my own lane and focus on the gifts God has given me.

✨ I don’t know about you… but I refuse to live small when I know God created me to dream BIG.

The problem was never my dreams.
The problem was believing I was capable of them.

So after I walked away from the airport, I started writing my vision down according to Habakkuk 2:2:
“Write the vision and make it plain.” 🙏

I wrote down my dreams.
What I wanted.
Who I wanted to become.
The life I no longer wanted to settle for.

Because this is not just positive thinking.
It is continuous work, faith, mindset, and refusing to let your surroundings decide what is possible for you. 💭

I was raised with:
“Go to college, get a job, and stay there.”
And there is nothing wrong with that.

But after years of working at the airport as cabin crew, in retail and customer service, and later as ground staff… I realized there could be more.

One moment changed everything for me.

A passenger had forgotten her phone in the store where I worked. I ran through the airport to the gate just before it closed and managed to hand the phone to the ground staff, who then rushed to the aircraft and gave it back to the passenger. The passenger was so grateful. ✈️

As I returned, one of the ground staff members looked at me and said:
“You should work here.”

I asked for details.
Applied.
And got accepted.

That decision led me to work for more than two years at check-in and departure gates.

And now, through my online travel journey, I can finally connect the dots and use my story to encourage others to believe in themselves too. ❤️

Because if I learned one thing, it is this:
Don’t just think it.
INK IT. ✍️

Write the vision down.
Stop shrinking your dreams because other people are uncomfortable with them.

I would rather try, fail, learn, grow, and follow my heart…
than spend my life wondering:
“What if?”

So I just wonder…

I used to think I was confident… but that's in an another area — on stage, singing.

Now it’s different.
This is confidence in building something for myself — my own responsibility, my own decisions, my own future ✨

I’ve learned that if someone says no when I share the business opportunity, for whatever reason, that’s absolutely fine.

This journey has given me more self-belief and with God on my side, I can do this. I see so many colleagues who have been in this business for years becoming successful — and there is no reason why I can’t too.

Ordinary people, with no experience, building extraordinary lives for themselves and their families.

I’m not being checked on.
I’m building.
I’m learning.
I’m growing.

Freedom is what matters most, while still enjoying life right now ✨

You say you don’t have time… ⏰
but you DO want extra income 💭

What would an extra £500 a month mean to you?
Would it help you pay off your credit card, cover your car insurance, or finally book that weekend away to Venice? ✈️🇮🇹

You are already spending money on travel anyway… so why not learn how to earn commission from it too? 🌍

And let’s be honest…
You spend hours scrolling on social media every day 📱
Why not use some of that time to build something for yourself instead? ✨

The beautiful part is — you can learn while you earn and build this alongside your current circumstances 🤍

Nobody starts as an expert.
You learned to drive.
You learned your job.
And I’m pretty sure your dad didn’t hand you the Mercedes after 3 driving lessons either 😅

Everything takes patience, consistency, and learning new skills 📚

✨ Filling in a request for overtime… but the moment I saw my teammates going home at the end of their shift, I already regretted choosing to stay longer.

And I started asking myself… was I really doing this for the extra money?
I decided… not anymore.
Because afterwards I was completely knackered and couldn’t even enjoy the rest of the day properly.

What’s the point of doing overtime?
💭 I thought about my health.

It wasn’t even just the overtime itself… it was the thought that this could become the next 5 years of my life.
No thanks.

Yes, of course extra money is nice. Everyone wants that concert ticket 🎶 that day trip 🌍 or quality time with the people they love ❤️

But when I was on holiday, I realised there has to be more than this.
So I started looking at other options because I care more about enjoying life than being drained after work.

I’m truly grateful I said yes to an amazing opportunity where I’m surrounded by like-minded people who genuinely want to see each other win ✨

I get to work on my own terms from anywhere, and even simple things like today’s walk and enjoying nature is pure freedom.

Because life should feel like living… not just recovering from work.

If freedom and flexibility speaks to you… one decision can change the direction of your life ✨

Do you agree with the words on my blouse?
“Never give up because great things takes time.” ✨🩵

I thought I was smart when I set up business accounts on all my social media platforms at once.
At first, I wanted to share the perks and possibilities this travel business has to offer, but learning everything at the same time was overwhelming.

It took patience, and because I’m not “computer-tekkie,” there were moments I wanted to give up.

But I just needed to master one platform at a time.
So Google and YouTube were a great help. 📱💡
Now I can create posts and reels much quicker. I’ve learned different platforms, and I even set up my Linktree — have a look in my bio.

My mum once said: “Jill, where there is a will, there is a way.” And she was right. ✨

For me, time freedom, location freedom, and options for my future are very important. ✈️🌍

Sometimes we expect instant results… but growth takes time. Think of this: would a pilot who has just started his training be allowed to fly you to your holiday destination?

Looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come — from cabin crew in the Netherlands and here in the UK, to building something new now. If I could learn then, I can still learn now.

Remember: dreams have no expiry date, no matter your age. ❤️

Hey guys — what have you been up to this Saturday with this lovely warm weather here in the UK? ☀️🌿

At noon I went for a walk for over an hour as I wanted to make sure I was home before our online company event at 2pm. 🚶‍♀️✨

I tell you what happened today — I realised I’m making progress. 💫

Since starting this travel journey I’ve wanted to show more of me — not only offers, invites, and flyers. I want you to get to know me — not just the Jill who only posts stock images. 💙

Whilst walking, I took selfies and nature shots. I noticed I’m getting better and quicker at not overthinking. Earlier I wouldn’t have posted some of these pics, but now I do. Done. 📸🌸
To be honest, I enjoy it now, becoming more confident. 😊

Taking selfies has never felt natural to me. For some people it’s easy peasy — for me, not really. And then comes the next thing… which picture do I choose? 🤔
I told myself: just do it as consistency beats perfection. ✨

I’m here to help — whether that’s booking your trip, sharing this travel business opportunity with those who want a better life, and showing that if you love travel, you can do this too. ✈️💼
You only have to believe in yourself. 💫

For me, growth means doing the part that feels uncomfortable. Showing up consistently, learning new skills, and above all choosing progress over staying stuck. 💪
