Congratulations Rosemary

My passion has always been travel — every shade of it. Just over a year ago, I stepped into homeworking as a Personal Travel Consultant, thinking it would be a simple extension of what I’d always done for friends, colleagues and family. But partnering with Hays Travel opened my eyes to a whole new world behind the scenes. There’s so much more to travel than people realise, and I took every part of that learning curve in my stride.

Before long, enquiries started coming in — especially for cruises, which naturally became my niche. I’d noticed for years that Afro‑Caribbeans were underrepresented in cruising, and I made it my mission to change that narrative, educate our community, and debunk the myths about cruising that have held so many back from experiencing it.

Has this journey been smooth? Absolutely not.
There’s been sicknesses, family emergencies, work pressures, disappointments, and moments where life tried to knock me off track. But by God’s special grace, I stayed committed. Purpose kept me going. Growth kept me going. My clients kept me going.

So today, I’m celebrating myself for reaching this milestone, for staying focused, and for continuing to learn and evolve. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited for what’s ahead.
