BEACH OR BUSH?
The answer, ideally, is both.

🇱🇰 Sri Lanka
Perfect for families, couples and first-time safari experiences. You can combine cultural sites, train journeys and wildlife-rich national parks with beautiful beaches on the south coast. One day you’re spotting elephants and leopards, the next you’re eating fresh seafood beside the Indian Ocean wondering whether you could realistically stay forever.
🇿🇦 South Africa
One of the best all-round safari destinations, particularly for families thanks to several malaria-free reserves. Pair a safari with Cape Town and the beaches of the Garden Route or Mozambique for a trip that somehow manages to include penguins, vineyards, whales, mountains and lions in one itinerary without feeling remotely excessive.
🇹🇿 Tanzania & Zanzibar
This is the big cinematic safari. Endless plains, extraordinary wildlife and the kind of sunsets that make people briefly consider becoming travel photographers. Follow it with Zanzibar for white sand beaches, spice farms, turquoise water and enough relaxation to recover from your 5am game drive starts.
