A bucket-list trip if ever there was one… 🌎

I’ve recently booked this incredible adventure for a couple in their 60s who love nature and stargazing, and I have to admit, I was slightly envious putting this one together!

They’ll start with a stay in Quito, before boarding the National Geographic Islander II to explore the Galápagos Islands.

From there, they’ll travel via Santiago to the Atacama Desert, staying at the gorgeous Nayara Alto Atacama.

For two people who love wildlife, nature and looking up at the night sky, it’s such a brilliant combination. The Galápagos for some of the most extraordinary wildlife on the planet, followed by the vast landscapes and incredible stargazing of the Atacama Desert. ✨

This is going to be one very special trip - and definitely one that’s gone onto my own list!

What a summer we’ve had. ❤️

From Lisbon to our epic trip through Vietnam, we’ve travelled, explored, eaten a LOT of good food and had so much fun together as a family.

And it’s reminded me of something – travel with your kids while they still want to travel with you!

Mine are getting older now, so I’m very aware that these family holidays won’t always look quite the same. While they’re still happy to pack a bag and come along, I’m making the most of it.

Which means I’m now firmly into planning mode for 2027…

But where next?

We’ve done Vietnam, Bali, Singapore, Greece, Portugal and plenty more over the years, so I’m looking for somewhere that gives us another proper adventure.

Japan? Costa Rica? South Korea? The Philippines? Maybe somewhere completely different?

What’s on your 2027 list? And if you’ve got somewhere you think we should go, I want to hear it! ✈️

Borneo Part Two… aka heaven. 🌴

I LOVE it when clients send me photos from the holidays I’ve planned for them, and these are from the final stop on one of my recent family adventures.

After Kota Kinabalu, Sepilok, rainforest lodges and plenty of exploring, I booked them five nights at Gaya Island Resort to finish the trip.

Set on its own island just off Kota Kinabalu, you arrive by speedboat to a resort surrounded by rainforest and sea.

There are rainforest trails, snorkelling, kayaking and plenty of wildlife and marine life to discover – or you can simply enjoy the gorgeous pool and do very little at all.

I think this one is going on my own list! 💫

Beautiful Borneo! 🇲🇾

When my clients said they wanted to experience Borneo, we didn’t just book a hotel and add a couple of excursions. We built an adventure around what they wanted to see and do.

They started with four nights at Shangri-La Rasa Ria in Kota Kinabalu, with time to enjoy the resort alongside a wildlife cruise and a day exploring Kinabalu Park.

Then it was off to Sandakan and into the rainforest, staying near Sepilok before heading deeper into Borneo for two nights at Bilit Rainforest Lodge.

Wildlife, rainforest, boat trips and a completely different side of Malaysia…

And after all of that? Five nights on breathtaking Gaya Island to do absolutely nothing if they wanted to. ❤️
