Addison Lee A premium car service that moves with London. The city’s #1 choice for cars, taxis and couriers. A car service. Extraordinary service.

We wanted to create a car company different from the rest, one that provided a great service to our customers. Soon we were changing the way car service companies worked. Now we serve 10 million passengers in our home town of London every year and have expanded out to 350 cities worldwide. Our drivers get training not just in the practicalities of the road, but in how to deliver the most helpful, polished
service. Our knowledge of transport logistics allows us to run a cutting-edge courier company too. We like to approach each journey as a new opportunity to serve our customers even better.

Yesterday, we continued our CPR and defibrillator training programme for Addison Lee drivers, delivered in partnership with St John Ambulance at our West Drayton Fleet Hub. This session was made even more meaningful with Patrick Gallagher, our CEO, joining the drivers and taking part in the training.

The initiative was inspired by driver Godwin Omotobora, whose CPR training gave him the confidence to step in during a passenger's medical emergency and help save their life.

"Our drivers are at the heart of everything we do, and giving them the skills and confidence to respond in an emergency is something we're incredibly proud of. Godwin's experience shows just how powerful this training can be when it really matters." - Patrick Gallagher, CEO, Addison Lee

A huge thank you to all the drivers who took part, Patrick, and the St John Ambulance team for making today's session such a success.

We were delighted to host another inspiring Addison Lee X Think Pink event at our West Drayton Fleet Hub, bringing together women working towards their licence, newly licensed drivers and our current female drivers.

With women making up less than 7% of private hire and taxi drivers across the UK, there’s a real opportunity to increase representation and create a more inclusive industry.

The afternoon was filled with mentorship, advice and shared experiences, giving future drivers the chance to ask questions, learn about the driver deal and get a closer look at the vehicles they’ll soon be driving.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so positive and empowering! 💗🚗

Vocational driving is one of the toughest jobs on the body, long hours behind the wheel, irregular sleep, and health checks that can be hard to fit in. That's why we partnered with D4Drivers, the UK's largest provider of Group 2 medicals, to make it simpler for every Addison Lee driver to stay on top of theirs.

With the partnership, drivers get:

- Faster appointments across London's biggest clinic network
- Discounted rates on Group 2 medicals
- Less time waiting around, more time earning

A healthy driver is a safer driver. Looking after our fleet starts with looking after the people driving it.

Find out more about booking your medical through D4Drivers.
