The Queen made a visit to Paddington Station today to see the completed Elizabeth line, which opens to the public 24 May and will cut journey times significantly across London. It stretches from Reading in Berkshire and Heathrow Airport in west London, to Shenfield in Essex and Abbey Wood in south-east London. Services in the central London section will run every 5 minutes from 6.30 to 11pm with a full timetable in place for May 2023.
