Full-Time PCV Coach / Tour Drivers
Start Date: ASAP – September 2025

Paul S. Winson Coaches Ltd, an Earned Recognition and Guild of British Coach Operators accredited operator, has exciting opportunities for Full-Time PCV Coach / Tour Drivers to join our professional team based in Loughborough.

Role Overview

*We are seeking qualified and enthusiastic PCV Drivers (Category D licence required) to operate a wide variety of services, including:
*UK and European Tours (average 2–3 away trips per month during peak season)
*Private Charter & Corporate Hires
*Sports Contracts
*Rail Replacement Services
*General Coach Work
*Home-to-School Contracts

Drivers will be allocated their own Scania i6s coach as their primary vehicle, although other PCV vehicles may be driven as required.

Pay & Hours

*Monday–Friday: £14.13 per hour
*Weekends & Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour
*Guaranteed minimum: 40 hours per week
*Tours: Paid 9 hours minimum per day, plus additional hours worked

Annual Salary: £29,300 – £38,000 (dependent on hours worked)

Responsibilities

*Safely operate and drive PCV vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations
*Carry out daily vehicle walk-round safety checks
*Provide excellent customer service at all times
*Assist passengers with luggage when required
*Maintain accurate records and reports as necessary
*Undertake regular training and development (including Driver CPC)

Requirements

*PCV Licence (Category D) – essential
*Current Driver CPC qualification
*Strong focus on passenger safety and comfort
*Flexibility to work across weekends and tours
*Good communication and customer service skills

Join us this Saturday the 17th of May at the Heritage Bus Rally (in partnership with the Leicester Transport Heritage Centre) being held at Great Central Railway Quorn & Woodhouse Station Yard.

Entry is free from 10am, there'll be vintage bus rides, heritage tours & stalls to see.

You'll also be able to view buses old & new, so with that in mind we will be taking our 1979 Bedford Unicar, and our brand new ADL E400 for you to see.

***ELA STUDENTS & GRAMMAR ROUTE Q - W/C 28.04.2025***

Normanton students - Moor Lane will be closed from the 28th April to the 18th of May, therefore we will be unable to to collect & drop off in Normanton Village.

Students that usually catch the 485 will need to board the 483 instead, this will be picking up on the AM route at the bus stop on the A6006 before the left turn into Sutton Bonington, on the PM route they will be dropped at the bus stop on the A6006 just after the Moor Lane junction.

Route Q students will be picked up at the bus stop on the A6006 just after the Moor Lane junction on the AM route, the PM route will drop off at the bus stop on the A6006 opposite Moor Lane.
