Duties
Supervise and support care staff in their daily responsibilities, ensuring compliance with care plans and organisational policies.
Be flexible to cover occasional shifts - both during the day and overnight
Facilitate effective communication among team members, client and family to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
Monitor the performance of the care team, providing guidance and training as necessary to foster professional development.
Ensure that all documentation related to staff are accurate and up-to-date, utilising IT systems effectively.
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to strategic planning for the continuous improvement of care services.
Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams within a care setting.
Strong understanding of senior care principles and best practices in developing and implementing effective care plans.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with client, family, and staff members.
Ability to drive team performance through motivation and support while maintaining a positive work environment.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to care documentation and reporting processes.
A compassionate approach towards vulnerable individuals, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions.
