You wouldn’t believe what’s hiding just minutes from Milan’s Duomo… 👀💀

We stumbled across **San Bernardino alle Ossa** — a church with a tiny chapel whose walls are covered in real human bones.

The story goes back to 1210, when the nearby cemetery became overcrowded and an ossuary was built to house the remains.

Over time, the bones were arranged into these incredibly detailed patterns covering the walls. 💀

And there’s even a creepy legend about a little girl whose bones supposedly come alive on All Souls’ Day… 👀

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen this back home! 😂

And yes — alcohol vending machines are a real thing in Italy, although there are rules around where and when alcohol can be sold, and Milan has additional restrictions in certain nightlife areas.

Italy really does have some of the most unexpected travel discoveries! 😂🇮🇹

One of the best views of Lake Como costs **less than £7 return!** 😍

If you’re visiting Como, don’t just admire the lake from below — take the **Como–Brunate Funicular** up to Brunate. 🚠

The ride is only around 7 minutes, but once you get to the top… **WOW.** 🤩

You’ll get incredible panoramic views over Como and the lake — and if you time it around sunset, it’s even more beautiful. 🌅

**Nobody warned us THIS would happen at the Duomo terraces 😳🇮🇹**

We went to the **terraces FIRST**… and honestly, everything else looked less impressive after that. 😂

The views, the architecture, the incredible detail everywhere you look… **absolutely magnificent.** 😍

But here’s the funny part — because we saw the terraces first, I’m not even joking when I say the cathedral itself didn’t quite have the same **WOW factor** afterwards! 😂

✨ **My Milan tip:** If you’re visiting the Duomo, **do the terraces first!**

And if you can, take the **fast-track/lift option** — especially if you don’t fancy climbing all those stairs. 🙌🏼

Lake Como for less than **£11 per person**? 🇮🇹🚤 YES PLEASE!

We took a **one-hour boat trip around Lake Como** and honestly… it was absolutely worth it! 😍

Everything in Barcelona feels so cheap… until you look at your bank account. 😂💸
