African antelope horns are evolutionary Swiss Army knives — forged by predator pressure, rival combat, and the relentless drive to attract a mate. The wildebeest (Connochaetes taurinus) went wide and bovine, built for clashing heads in dusty standoffs; the waterbuck (Kobus ellipsiprymnus) grew long and ridged, an elegant weapon as much as an ornament. No two species took the same path.
