One excursion in Austria that is not to be missed is the Sigmund Thun Gorge walk -

ad | An atmospheric, almost mystical spectacle of nature that should be high on your must-do list! The walk through the gorge takes around 30 minutes, it’s easy to navigate just follow along the purpose built wooden steps and boardwalk. Great for families (not pram friendly because of the steps) and don’t forget your rain coats when passing under the waterfalls. At the end of the gorge cross the bridge and turn left, you’re only minutes from the stunning Klammsee Reservoir, one of the most beautiful lakes in the region. With plenty of picnic spots dotted around the lake, there’s also a cafe and lakeside playground at Klammseestüberl; just a 10 minute walk from the end of the gorge. There are also endless trails around the reservoir to extend the day with a hike but the gorge and a playground were a win for us.
Getting there : If you’re without a car like us the 660 bus takes you directly from Zell am See to the gorge. If you stay on the bus until the stop after the gorge ( which happened to us by mistake 🙈) you’ll pass by the playground and the reservoir on your walk to the gorge so it was actually a blessing in disguise.
Enjoyment : Highly recommend!

It’s a travel day today 🙌🏽 the routine: get everything ready the night before, last bits go in the suitcase that morning, girls dressed, unload dishwasher, passports check, bins out, check front door is locked (a couple of times), taxi to the airport, breakfast at the airport (flying from Manchester terminal 2 it’s always Joe & the Juice açai bowls), fill water bottles and away we go. The rules on the flights, anything goes to keep the girls entertained, screen time, sticker books, books, colouring, toys, chatting to passengers and cabin crew, whatever it takes. This flight was really short, just a 2 hour flight to beautiful Austria. Let the adventures begin!

Some great memories made in the EV9. Here’s to many more road trips! we still think their one of the best ways to explore as a family. It just means you can throw it all in the car, not have to worry about being somewhere at a certain time, stop off where you choose and put on your favourite songs whilst you head to your destination. The last stop on our Montenegro coastal trip, the . The perfect way to see out our time in this beautiful country. Our own family apartment overlooking the resorts private beach. There’s an hourly shuttle boat over to the beautiful Budva Old Town and the in-house dining is exceptional. The resort feels like a home from home but with all the 5 star luxuries and amenities you could wish for, and for the little ones there’s a dedicated kids club and program. Highly recommended

ad | A great feature on the Pocket 4 are the in camera film tones. They’re basically built in colour presets designed to give the footage a cinematic, graded look straight out of camera. You can even adjust the intensity of the look. Pair this with a ND filter and you can a really great image straight from camera. A little tip from us - lower the texture and noise reduction settings to -2. This gives your footage a softer, less digital look ✌🏽

Maybe homeschooling isn’t the crazy question anymore.
It seems we’re not alone in how many parents are starting to question the system. That’s where we are right now.
Questioning what our kids are actually being prepared for, who is shaping their worldview every day, and whether just because something has become ‘normal’ still makes sense.
