🚨 Important Update: New CMA Pricing Rules – Effective 28 February 2026
Following the new pricing transparency requirements being introduced by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), which come into effect across the UK from 28 February 2026, I want to let you know that I will be advertising all holiday offers in a new compliant format with immediate effect!
This means that every offer I publish will now clearly include:
✅ All mandatory charges included in the headline price
✅ Any local taxes or resort fees included within the total price shown
✅ A clear breakdown of what is payable to hays and what is payable in resort (where applicable)
✅ The exchange rate used when converting any local taxes into GBP
✅ The specific room or cabin type the price is based on
✅ Clear terms and conditions
✅ The departure date, departure airport, and number of guests the price is based on
✔️These changes ensure my pricing is fully transparent, compliant with the new CMA requirements, and gives my customers complete clarity and confidence when viewing my offers.
