I hope you have all had a lovely summer and enjoyed some quality family time?

It’s been a busy summer for me too, helping my clients enjoy some wonderful adventures. From a family trip to Borneo, a US road trip with teens, to a multi-generational Norwegian cruise through the fjords and an authentic Greek island escape, to name just a few...

Of course, these holidays were all planned and booked well in advance, which is why September is such a good time to start thinking about next summer.

There is currently some great availability for 2027, meaning you have a much better choice of hotels, room types and dates. As availability starts to reduce, prices can start to increase, so booking early can really make a difference.

Why visit one island when you can experience two?

For the past two years, my family and I have been lucky enough to explore the Caribbean and this year we discovered Grenada & Barbados, having visited Saint Lucia last year.

One of the best things about Grenada is how easy it is to combine with Saint Lucia, with flights connecting via Saint Lucia and Barbados. It makes creating a twin-centre Caribbean escape surprisingly simple.

Two of my absolute favourite hotels from our travels were Cap Maison in Saint Lucia and Calabash Hotel in Grenada.

| BACK FROM BARBADOS |
For the second part of our trip to the Caribbean, we stopped off in Barbados. We had the best time... great food, music and sunsets. Naturally my daughter provided the resort entertainment 😂! If you want to follow in our footsteps, happy to share my tips and help plan you adventure.

| THE PERFECT DAY |
Last week I was fortunate enough to be invited by one of my key partners, Audley Travel on a luxury day trip to The Hut on the Isle of Wight. What an incredible day it was!

The experience began with a champagne boat transfer across the Solent, complete with music and sunshine, before arriving at The Hut for an amazing surf and turf lunch and cocktails. Needless to say, by the end of the afternoon we had the whole restaurant up dancing!
