Our very own Travel Expert, Sharon Kennaird at Hays Travel - Personal Travel Consultant, is taking on an extraordinary 75-day virtual Around the World Challenge to raise vital funds for Ladybird Hub CIC!

Sharon will be pushing her limits through 13 massive milestones across the globe, including:

🧱 Biking across the Great Wall of China
🛣️ Cycling iconic Route 66

This can only mean one thing..

Another new idea to add to the thousands of ideas I have!

To be honest I have been thinking about it for a while, I’m not sure why I’m nervous/scared to push the button on it.

I’ve never been one to be in the spotlight or any good at it!

So we’ll see! I need to do a bit of research and make sure I set things up to how I want.

It’s all very exciting running my travel business, just the self doubt kicks in more than I’d like!

Ever wondered why when you book a holiday you click through and the price changes?

When getting a quote that price is only valid for the time I get the quote.

Prices fluctuate and it’s not unknown for me to put through a booking 20 mins later and it’s either gone up in price or availability has changed. And that’s when you’re ready to book!

Even waiting a couple of hours could mean the room you want gets sold, the hotel sells out, the price increases etc. I’ve even seen holidays go up by £1000 before!

If you have a quote it won’t be valid for very long. Prices are not guaranteed, subject to change and availability. The longer you wait, the more at risk you are of significant changes.

Moral of the story, if you want to make sure you get the exact holiday you want, get it booked as soon as you can.

Obviously I’ll have a plan b,c,d etc if you can’t book quickly. But I’d hate for people to miss out and have to go with an alternative ❤️
