Concept images show sleek check in area, departure lounge and gates as part of £500m transformation.

The terminal building at the Docklands airport is set to become four-times bigger as part of a huge expansion

Transformed terminal will feature new shops, restaurants and bars, which are synonymous with the capital

The £500m development will also include eight new aircraft stands and a parallel taxiway, next to the runway.

New routes from the airport to Munich, Budapest, Vilnius, Warsaw, Newcastle and Split commence in the New Year.
