On Thursday I spent the day meeting with some of my key supplier partners to hear about new hotel openings, destination updates, luxury resort developments and cruise news for 2026 and beyond.

Behind every recommendation I make and every trip I plan for my clients is a lot of learning, research and supplier knowledge. It's quite a challenge to keep up as nothing ever stands still in the world of travel, but it's essential if I'm to provide the high level of service my clients expect.

So the event was an invaluable day away from my desk gathering updates, strengthening supplier relationships and gaining first-hand insights. From luxury resorts in Greece and Turkey to premium cruise experiences and exciting new family holiday concepts, it's always beneficial to hear directly from the people behind the products I recommend and pick up their insider tips too.

🇺🇸🚗 Just booked: Festive Family Florida Road Trip 🚗🇺🇸

Today I've confirmed a fabulous Christmas and New Year Florida road trip for a family wanting to make the most of the festive period with a real mix of experiences rather than staying in one place.

Their route takes them from Miami Beach through the Florida Keys, Key West, Naples, Anna Maria Island and Orlando, combining vibrant cities, beautiful coastal locations, iconic drives, laid-back island life, theme parks and plenty of opportunities for family fun along the way.
