Bonsall Opens Gardens weekend event this weekend 7th and 8th June 💕

Wooley Pingle Shepherd’s hut and gardens are open to visitors today. Drinks and home made cakes served from the hut. Happy for you to take a peek in the Shepherd’s Hut if you have ever been curious about a stay and what it provides. 😉

It may be a bit grey and damp today but you will get a warm welcome. Come along and support the event, have a good mooch around all the Bonsall the gardens for inspiration.

May ’25 - "I have stayed in Wooley Pingle Shepherd's Hut many times now, and there is always something new to discover in the beautiful gardens, surrounding fields and village. It is a great base from which to visit rural Derbyshire, but also somewhere remote but not isolated, if you want to get away from it all. Perfect for couples and safe for solo travellers too! It is the perfect hideaway to escape a busy family and work life - it basically helps keep me sane!!

Why a Shepherd's hut? It is quirky, peaceful, undisturbed, and so much more comfortable and unique than a hotel or B&B. are immersed in it.

We’re delighted to be taking part once again in this year’s Bonsall Open Gardens weekend! Come and explore our beautiful village in full bloom and enjoy a wander through some of the most charming private gardens around.

"Beautiful shepherd's hut close to the top of one of Derbyshire’s hills. The closest building is the owner’s cottage, which is further down the hill, so you have your own private spot. No other huts or houses close by. The hut itself is immaculate with everything you could need for a few days away from the busyness of everyday life. Lots of walks from your door, so no need to use the car. We had an awesome weekend there."
