Mahala is the kind of boat that dreams are made of…

Designed by Johnny Vegas, and restored by Jim Stuart, of Shred & Butta, you can be sure that a stay in Mahala will be a truly extraordinary experience for two, four, or a special treat for a solo traveller.

Discovered in a boatyard, she’s been given the ‘Field of Dreams’ treatment and transformed into a totally unique glamping vehicle, complete with a bathtub for guests to fill and float away in*

Mahala has a fixed double bed, and has all amenities you need for cooking, dining and relaxing. Outside, she has a table, seating, and a fire pit – perfect for BBQs or moonlit mood-setting – and her own beautifully converted horse trailer bathroom too.

Mahala even has a half boat swing on her deck. Designed by Johnny & hand crafted by Master Joiner, Mick Mumford of Melbourne.

Mahala now has a spacious outside ‘glawning’ tent on her pitch, with a double sofa-bed and a wood burning stove; meaning more room to stretch out in, or you can add more guests if you want to*

*Mahala sleeps 2 in the boat and an extra two people in the glawning.

*Please note that Mahala is ‘moored’ on land at the Field of Dreams but you can submerge yourself in the bathtub any time, with warm running water on tap.

Meet The Vehicles - Patricia

Patricia is a very special lady and a key part of the story of the Field of Dreams. A Maltese public transport bus, she was in working service from the 1960s until 2011 – and now is the perfect glamping host for up to four people.

She has been lovingly designed by Johnny Vegas, and reflects his amazing artistic flair and creativity, his love for vintage vehicles, and is named in memory of his dearly loved late mum. She was restored by Paulleo & Joe of Speedway Coachworks.

Patricia has a fixed double bed, and a seating area that converts easily into a double bed. There is a fully kitted kitchen, her own WC, and a beautiful shower with tiles hand-made by Johnny, as well as many more of Johnny’s personal touches.

Patricia has outdoor bench seating, a table, and Lol’s Bar, named after Johnny’s Dad, which was designed by Steve & Hughie of Retro Chimps.

Guests also have an individual outdoor fire pit, ideal for BBQs; and your own beautifully converted horse trailer bathroom.

Welcome aboard our Bluebird American School Bus – once a road-tripping legend across Europe, now a stunning camper ready to welcome you for an unforgettable stay! Your Home on Wheels (Without the Wheels Turning!) Lovingly transformed into a cosy retreat.

Our Bluebird sleeps up to 5 guests – with a comfy double bed, two fun bunks, and a sofa bed perfect for families or groups of friends.

Cook up delicious meals in the kitchen, which has a cooker, fridge-freezer, and a toaster for a relaxed, self-catered stay.

Freshen up in your own private shower and toilet, all built into the bus – plus, enjoy the added luxury of a converted horsebox with a second shower and flushing toilet just outside! Snuggle up in front of the log burner, with games & blankets for ultimate comfort – whether it’s a rainy afternoon or a starry night.

Meet The Vehicles - Oscar The Puma Helicopter.

Oscar The Puma served in Chile and Sierra Leone from 1970 until 2005 when he was retired from service and destined for a future in the Field of Dreams.

Oscar’s transformation as a stunning glamping vehicle is designed by Johnny Vegas, with the restoration carried out by Stuart Abbott, of Stu-Art Aviation.

A short stay in Oscar is a truly one-off and wonderful experience; perfect for up to six people. He has a fixed double bed, seating that converts to two singles, and a double sofa bed in the field tent attached – plus all the amenities you need for cooking, dining and relaxing.

Outside, Oscar has a roof deck and his own ground level decked area with table and seating, plus an outdoor fire pit – perfect for BBQs and cosy gatherings.

Guests also have private use of Oscar’s own beautifully converted horse trailer bathroom.

Meet The Vehicles - Le Camper

We have availability in this cool van across the Summer Season, so please check out the website and book your Glamping stay

This striking 1960s French Citröen van is one of only thirteen ever made, characterised by her quirky detachable camper trailer. She is perfect for up to four people.

Le Camper’s sympathetic restoration is by Jim Stuart, of Shred & Butta, with her mellow interior created in a rustic style, with reclaimed wood and vintage touches.

She has two bunks and a seating area that converts easily into a double bed. An outside table and seating is positioned between the two sections of the van, and inside she has a kitchenette, with a fridge, electric hotplate, kettle and toaster.

Le Camper also has a spacious outside ‘glawning’ tent, with a double sofa bed, seating, and a wood burning stove (with a stash of logs for your arrival and more available on site). Outside you have your own outdoor fire pit, ideal for BBQs; picnic table, and your own beautifully converted horse trailer bathroom.

Guests are welcome to bring one dog with them for their stay in Le Camper, at no extra charge. We just ask you to keep muddy paws to a minimum inside the bus, and to not let your pooch on the furniture without putting a protective blanket on first.
