With some ‘After & Before’ pics of Mulberry Cottage, a two bedroom cottage in the picturesque village of Bowden (3 miles from Melrose) A super comfy property full of character and charm. Wonderful for those winter getaways!

This is my kind of Halloween!!!!No carving pumpkins for me but instead a flower arrangement!!! Goodness I am getting old 😖!!!
Empty the seeds, make a load of holes (I used a screwdriver) around the top of the pumpkin including the lid! Use some festive autumnal flowers and push the stems through the holes to create a sturdy flower display. Fill with water to cover the bottom of the stems. A more ‘sophisticated’ table decoration if celebrating this weekend!!!

Our 3 properties here at Faldonside-The Lodge, The Studio & The Railway Carriage might just be the ideal getaway for fresh air & being close to nature.

Faldonside-we have been told it was one of Sir Walter Scott’s favourite landscapes and a place he loved to ride. We are so lucky to say he even designed some of the woodland here! A place to explore when staying. Walks galore with 2 lochs, Faldonside & Cauldshiels in walking distance from our 3 properties.
