We are bursting with pride this evening as Phoebe has been offered a place to train with the prestigious Junior Associates, from September.

Her ballet teacher said to me earlier “when she is in that studio she is there to learn and works her socks off” and that determination and focused has paid off.

8 years ago we took Phoebe abroad for the first time, to an incredible Farm Stay in beautiful Tuscany. Alexa is tugging at my heart strings by flashing up the memories today!

Italy is so family friendly and the Italians love children! She’s seen some beautiful sights and can’t remember any of it. So these memories belong to Jon and I, but they’re absolutely precious.

You’ve heard of Split, Dubrovnik and Zadar… but what about Croatia’s lakes, waterfalls, islands and national parks?

The good news? Many of them are surprisingly easy to reach. Places like Plitvice Lakes National Park and Krka National Park make great day trips, while the islands range from lively hotspots to wonderfully quiet escapes.

Yes, some of the famous spots get busy in peak summer, but venture a little further, visit early, or travel outside July and August, and you’ll see a different side of Croatia.
