We are delighted to announce that Paul Humberstone is joining us at the convention.

Paul started at Ealing Art College in 1968, where he met Freddie and they became best friends, we know he will have some excellent stories of his time at the college with Freddie!

We are delighted to announce another band for the weekend!

Supersonic Queen are a UK-based Queen tribute band dedicated exclusively to celebrating the music, legacy and live spirit of Queen. Unlike many tribute acts, Queen is their full-time focus, and lifelong obsession. Made up of lifelong fans, the band are known for their deep respect for the original material, their commitment to musical authenticity, and their onstage energy and chemistry.

Their lead singer, Phil Copping says: “We immerse ourselves in the arrangements, the harmonies, the phrasing, the textures, and all those quirky eccentricities that made Queen one of the most daring and musically sophisticated bands in history.”

“For the UK Queen Convention in Mablethorpe this October, we’re bringing a set designed especially for hardcore fans: an exciting mix of deep cuts, overlooked gems, and richly complex material that we hope Queen devotees will truly appreciate. We are honoured (and beyond thrilled) to perform for the most knowledgeable and passionate Queen fan community, and to play the music we love to people who love it just as fiercely.”

News Flash⚡️

We are delighted to announce that Gareth Taylor and his Queenies will be one of the bands performing at this year’s convention!

We have a message from Gareth “Being invited to perform at The International Queen Fan Club Convention is an incredible honour for all of us. I first met Jacky in 1994 when she signed a book for me. I have sadly never been available to attend this incredible weekend as I’ve always had gigs. We can’t wait to enjoy the celebrations and perform some Queen songs that some fans won’t have heard live before.”

We know that Gareth Taylor and His Queenies will rock the evening!

Good morning, we are pleased to announce our first confirmed guest for the Convention, Jonathan Melville.

Jonathan is an Edinburgh-based author of five non-fiction film and TV books, including 2020's A Kind of Magic: Making the Original Highlander, a 35th-anniversary look at 1986’s Highlander. The book includes new interviews with more than 60 cast and crew, including stars Christopher Lambert and Clancy Brown, director Russell Mulcahy and insight from Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor on the film's music. Jonathan will be happy to sign copies of the book at the event and will be selling a limited number of copies on the day!

Get ready – we’re thrilled to announce that in LESS THAN A WEEK, the 39th International Queen Fan Club Convention will officially be on sale! 🎟️ 🎸 Taking place at Haven Golden Sands Holiday Park in Mablethorpe, this year’s theme is “It’s a Kind of Magic” – celebrating the legendary album that gave us unforgettable hits!

Expect a weekend full of fun, because the line-up is stacked: live performances, exclusive videos, special guests, quizzes, competitions, discos, and plenty of dancing. In other words, you’ll be having such a good time, you won’t want to stop at all! 🕺

Last weekend marked the 38th International Queen Fan Club Convention – and what an incredible weekend it was! 🎸

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such an unforgettable celebration of all things Queen. The atmosphere was off the scale from start to finish!

Friday kicked off with Kinda Queen diving deep into fan-favourite tracks, while Don’t Stop Queen Now lit up Saturday night with an electric performance featuring talented frontman Mickey Callisto. And Sunday? The loudest ever! Belladonic Haze took it up a notch with a surprise appearance from Spike Edney, and we all loved hearing Roger Taylor and The Cross songs live!

Fans were treated to fascinating interviews with John Harris, Ken Testi, Terry Giddings, Spike Edney, Tony Rigg and Greg Brooks, who shared exciting updates and great audio. Add in the legendary Queen Quiz, fancy dress fun (congrats to The Crest from Italy 👑), the charity auction and raffles supporting the Mercury Phoenix Trust and Macmillan, fantastic DJs and a buzzing Marketplace – and it really was the perfect Queen-filled weekend. Another one for the history books!

We hope you had the best time – and keep your eyes peeled for 2026 tickets going on sale 👀🎶 We can’t wait!

We are delighted to announce that Ken Testi will be joining us at the convention, for those of you who are not familiar with Ken is, he was the manager and roadie for Ibex when a young Freddie made his debut performance as their lead singer at the Octagon Theatre, in August 1969. Ken became Queens unofficial first manager as he arranged their early shows and tried to help them secure a record deal.

We are looking forward to seeing Ken and listening to the stories of his time with Freddie and other people he has worked with.
