We have something a little different for you this year ‘Radio Pod Pod’

Six years ago Queenpod started a fan podcast mission to look at each Queen album, one side at a time. This year Radio Pod Pod completed that journey with Made in Heaven.

In their final episode Ro, Paul and Producer Sam will be ranking all 15 Queen Studio Albums. They are thrilled to be recording it at this year’s QIFCC in front of an audience of fellow Queeniacs!

Featuring contributions from ALL the Queen podcasts, this will be an hour of raucous debate and big laughs. Hot Space or The Miracle? A Night at the Opera or Queen II? What’s your top 15?

It’s like sitting in the pub with your best mates chatting about Freddie, Bri, Rog and Deacy – and nothing else matters!

An edited version of this live session will be released as a podcast later in the year but for the full experience – you simply have to be there.

It’s not just a live rendition of a podcast – it’s a theatrical event!

Our final band for the weekend is ' CHAMPIONS OF QUEEN! The UK's most unique, non dress up, completely live, music faithful Queen tribute.

The band features a sensational lineup of musicians who have performed at Freddie Mercury's Official Birthday in Montreux 4 times, and most recently performed A Night At The Opera in full to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.

The band will be fronted by the remarkable vocalist, performer and Tiktok star seen on ITVs Britain's Got Talent, Michael Spence (Mickey Callisto). Who performed for us last year at the Convention.

This combination of professional musicianship and expert showmanship, will put on one of the most exciting and electrifying performances of Queen. Our show will include special features from Queen's iconic 'A Kind Of Magic' to celebrate its 40th Anniversary.

We've carefully crafted a special setlist for the Queen convention which pays homage to the hidden masterpieces within Queens back catalogue, but also, will include a ton of favourites we know the everyone will love.

We are delighted to announce that photographer Denis O’Regan will be attending the convention. Denis has toured the world with some of the greatest bands and artists, documenting their life on and off stage. Not surprisingly, some of the most iconic images of Queen have be taken by Denis, we are looking forward to hearing some of his many stories and memories of his time with the band.

Today marks 40 years since Queen released their 12th studio album, A Kind of Magic – fittingly, the theme for our fancy dress competition this year! We can't wait to see how you all interpret this one🎩🎲🪄👑

We are delighted to announce that Paul Humberstone is joining us at the convention.

Paul started at Ealing Art College in 1968, where he met Freddie and they became best friends, we know he will have some excellent stories of his time at the college with Freddie!

We are delighted to announce another band for the weekend!

Supersonic Queen are a UK-based Queen tribute band dedicated exclusively to celebrating the music, legacy and live spirit of Queen. Unlike many tribute acts, Queen is their full-time focus, and lifelong obsession. Made up of lifelong fans, the band are known for their deep respect for the original material, their commitment to musical authenticity, and their onstage energy and chemistry.

Their lead singer, Phil Copping says: “We immerse ourselves in the arrangements, the harmonies, the phrasing, the textures, and all those quirky eccentricities that made Queen one of the most daring and musically sophisticated bands in history.”

News Flash⚡️

We are delighted to announce that Gareth Taylor and his Queenies will be one of the bands performing at this year’s convention!

We have a message from Gareth “Being invited to perform at The International Queen Fan Club Convention is an incredible honour for all of us. I first met Jacky in 1994 when she signed a book for me. I have sadly never been available to attend this incredible weekend as I’ve always had gigs. We can’t wait to enjoy the celebrations and perform some Queen songs that some fans won’t have heard live before.”

We know that Gareth Taylor and His Queenies will rock the evening!

Good morning, we are pleased to announce our first confirmed guest for the Convention, Jonathan Melville.

Jonathan is an Edinburgh-based author of five non-fiction film and TV books, including 2020's A Kind of Magic: Making the Original Highlander, a 35th-anniversary look at 1986’s Highlander. The book includes new interviews with more than 60 cast and crew, including stars Christopher Lambert and Clancy Brown, director Russell Mulcahy and insight from Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor on the film's music. Jonathan will be happy to sign copies of the book at the event and will be selling a limited number of copies on the day!
